It all started in the fall of 2014, on a typical college day at Hofstra University during my freshman year. A certain someone caught my eye, and little did I know, it would change my life forever. He says I gave him a “double take” that day, which boosted his confidence to strike up a conversation. But in true rom-com fashion, I didn’t see him again until the day of the final exam. Fast forward to the final exam, where we exchanged numbers (he creatively saved me as “Carla Legal 20”). We kept in touch, and after a few more chance encounters, he finally asked me out.&nbsp; From there, things moved quickly… and by quickly, I mean it only took him nine years to propose. But, good things take time… right? Nearly a decade later, countless laughs, and endless adventures, we’re thrilled to embark on our next chapter together. We’re so grateful for the love and support of our family and friends and can’t wait to celebrate this special moment with all of you!

Join us in kicking off the weekend with a spring-inspired Welcome Cocktail Party on Friday, March 28th, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Westin Beach Tiki. Enjoy a night of great food, refreshing drinks, and music by one of our favorite DJs as we celebrate under the stars!

Attire: Beach Chic with a Floral TwistPlease note, the party will be held on the sand, so comfortable footwear is recommended. Embrace the tropical vibes with breezy dresses, linen shirts, and stylish sandals. Feel free to add a floral touch to your outfit – a flower crown, a floral print, or a floral accessory.

Attire: Beach Formal We recommend wearing neutral colors in fresh, natural fabrics. Linen jackets for men and fresh, comfortable dresses for women. Please refrain from wearing black or dark colors, shorts, or flip-flops.

Transportation

We will have buses to transport you to our wedding venue and back to The Westin. The journey is approximately 15 minutes each way.
