It all started in the fall of 2014, on a typical college day at Hofstra University during my freshman year. A certain someone caught my eye, and little did I know, it would change my life forever. He says I gave him a “double take” that day, which boosted his confidence to strike up a conversation. But in true rom-com fashion, I didn’t see him again until the day of the final exam.

Fast forward to the final exam, where we exchanged numbers (he creatively saved me as “Carla Legal 20”). We kept in touch, and after a few more chance encounters, he finally asked me out.

From there, things moved quickly… and by quickly, I mean it only took him nine years to propose. But, good things take time… right?

Nearly a decade later, countless laughs, and endless adventures, we’re thrilled to embark on our next chapter together. We’re so grateful for the love and support of our family and friends and can’t wait to celebrate this special moment with all of you!
